Formula 1 enthusiasts have formulated a new speculation regarding Lewis Hamilton joining Red Bull, prompted by a video on social media where the seven-time world champion’s phone rang during an interview.
In November, the rumor mill stirred when Red Bull team principal Christian Horner disclosed in a Daily Mail interview that a representative from Lewis Hamilton’s camp had purportedly initiated discussions with Red Bull about a possible move earlier in the year. Hamilton, firmly bound to Mercedes until 2025, strongly denies these assertions, with Horner maintaining his version of events. While the verbal sparring appeared to subside, fans have now reignited speculative discussions, albeit with a dash of audacious imagination.
“That’s Horner pushing his luck.”
As Hamilton anticipates questions in an interview on Formula 1’s official X account, his phone begins to ring, eliciting laughter from Hamilton and those present.
However, some playful fans indulged in speculation about the identity of the caller.
“Horner asking to meet up at the end of the season again,” one commented.
“Don’t worry Lewis, that’s just Horner testing his luck with your new phone,” suggested another. “Could it have been Christian [Horner] who was calling him?” questioned a third.
“It was Karen Horner being left on read,” joked a fourth.
Well, whoever the caller was, they’ve certainly sparked conversations!
