This week in the World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace, Fallon Sherrock is back in action. But the Queen of the Palace’s household boasts more darts sensations than her.
Sherrock is linked to Cameron Menzies, another prominent darts player. The 34-year-old, who advanced to the second round of the 2022 World Darts Championship, will be back at Ally Pally this year.
In addition to his job in darts, Menzies makes ends living as a plumber. He acknowledged that, following his elimination from the tournament, he had taken time from work to watch Sherrock’s matches the previous year.
The Glasgow-born star claims that Sherrock and him frequently workout together. The sessions are, of course, fiercely competitive, and Menzies admits that if he loses, he has to make supper. Still, he maintains that he is Sherrock’s greatest admirer.
She is a highly sophisticated musician, and we like practicing together. Like many women, she has performed well in darts overall and is consistently hitting 90 and 100 averages, Menzies said to Sky Sports following his exit from the World Championship the previous year.
“I’m really fortunate to have a darts-playing companion that is excellent. Unless she beats me and I have to make the dinner, everything is nice in the house. When she beats me, it bothers me.
“She has my full support—left, right, and center. She has my undying admiration.
