Toto: Unity is Always Evident in Our Team

Toto commended the team's cohesion during the visit to the Brackley and Brixworth factories with Lewis and Mick, marking the conclusion of the year.

The trio visited the team to discuss the season, celebrating their achievement of securing P2 in the Constructors’ Championship, and extended gratitude to everyone who contributed both on and off the track.

Unfortunately, George couldn’t join the team due to his recovery from the illness he faced in the final two races of the season. Toto expressed, “Diversity is our strength.”

“It’s heartening to see team members with varying tenures. The team consistently demonstrates exceptional unity, setting us apart. We are transparent with one another, sharing a common goal. We aspire to win, and we want to collaborate,” added Toto.

Lewis echoed these sentiments, commending the team’s efforts at the base camp, especially as he and George worked to secure P2 in the Constructors’ Championship. He shared, “I’m encouraged by the progress we made throughout the year. We were gaining performance, not regressing. I know we were both pushing hard to secure that second place for you all.”

While expressing gratitude to the team, Lewis affirmed his trust in every team member and expressed confidence in returning to the top. He also mentioned starting his training for 2024 next week, while Toto looked forward to some downtime in his off-season.

“My off-season will be about downtime,” Toto mentioned. “The last few races were very physically and mentally draining. It will be about waking up in the morning and realizing there is no plan for the day.”

Although George couldn’t be present at the factories, he conveyed his appreciation for the team’s hard work throughout the year. In his message, he expressed optimism about finishing the season in Abu Dhabi P2 and looked forward to bridging the gap to the Red Bulls in the upcoming year.

As Mick re-signed with the team as a Reserve Driver but will drive for Alpine in the World Endurance Championship, he reflected on a good year providing valuable experience in the Sim, supporting Lewis, George, and the trackside team. Mick acknowledged the hard work and late nights in the Sim during the European season, emphasizing his aim to assist Lewis and George.
