F1 fans furious about Red Bull’s…
Following a recent Red Bull social media post that referred to three-time champion Max Verstappen as a lion while referring to Sergio Perez as only a “friendly dog,” Formula 1 fans were left perplexed.
Perez’s 2023 season was turbulent; even though he won two of the first four races, he would finish the season without taking the top spot.
Verstappen would win every race except for one, which was won by Carlos Sainz in Singapore. He would go on to set an amazing record, winning 19 of a possible 22 races.
As Verstappen’s teammate, Perez has frequently been linked to Red Bull’s disinterest, with some even speculating that the Mexican’s unbreakable 2024 drive may be in jeopardy.
Red Bull insulted Perez?
For those who continue to harbor doubts about Red Bull favoring Verstappen over Perez, their most recent social media prank served to confirm them.
A photo of Verstappen and Perez was shared on the F1 team’s official account. The caption said, “The lion and the friendly dog,” and included an emoji wink.
