In 2023, Max Verstappen smashed numerous records in the Formula 1 season. He broke a number of records in 2023 alone, although his record was already excellent prior to it. He drives for Red Bull Racing. We list Verstappen’s releases, both past and present.
Verstappen had a record-breaking Formula One season. For instance, in 2023, he won a Grand Prix 19 times, shattering his personal record of 15 victories in a season from 2022. He smashed Sebastian Vettel’s record in Monza, winning for the eighth straight race. Additionally, he set a record by surpassing Alberto Ascari’s 1952 mark with the greatest winning percentage (86.36%).
That is only a sampling of the Dutchman’s impressive season’s records, though. In addition, he set records for points (575), percentage of points (92.7%), and sprint victories (4) in a season. Additionally, he recorded six hat-tricks, winning, setting a fast lap, and securing pole position.
Verstappen became the first driver in Formula One history to win three races in the same nation in a single season when he triumphed in Miami, Austin, and the newly added race in Las Vegas. In addition, he made no fewer than six pit stops in the erratic Zandvoort race, where he still won. That’s another record, but he has to share it with Jenson Button from 2011, when he won the four-hour Canadian Grand Prix following many restarts brought on by severe weather and related events.
As the cherry on top of a fantastic season, Verstappen led over a thousand laps in Abu Dhabi. In 2023, he led 1003 (or 1325) laps, or 75.7% of the total.
