Anthony Joshua weighed one pound more than he did in his match with Robert Helenius.

Prior to his fight against Otto Wallin on Saturday, Anthony Joshua weighed 251 pounds, which was 1 pound more than he had for his previous fight against Robert Helenius.

On Saturday night, Joshua hopes to demolish Wallin in a manner similar to how he defeated Helenius in the seventh round via knockout.

In the meantime, Wallin, who hopes to defy the odds on Saturday night against the British heavyweight, weighed in at 238.6 pounds.

Since AJ began boxing professionally in 2013, there have been discussions about his weight.

The British heavyweight has periodically come under fire from supporters and commentators for being “too big,” “overly heavy,” and “a bit slow.”

Some claim that since his amateur days, when he defeated Roberto Cammarelle in 2012 to win Great Britain’s 29th and last gold medal at the London Olympic Games, the 34-year-old has put on too much weight.

Joshua’s weight has varied. After his battle with Franklin, he weighs a career-high 255.4 pounds.

Joshua made the decision to shed 5.4 pounds in preparation for his fight against Helenius, weighing 250 pounds total. AJ won the fight by knockout.

Since then, AJ and Ben Davison have collaborated, and AJ has uploaded multiple videos of himself working out on the pads.
