Coulthard had a chance to win in RB19
When the Scotsman drove the RB19 on a fast lap around Silverstone for Red Bull’s YouTube channel, he was astounded by its speed.
Coulthard said, “Okay, well, I’m wide awake now,” following the lap.
“What an experience, so smooth!”
“For a 52-year-old, it felt nimble, but I know the actual drivers comment that it seems very clunky at low speeds.
“Maybe even I could have won the title in this automobile,” he joked later. Then he said, “What are you laughing at? I used to be good!”
What a privilege, Coulthard said as he crossed the line. What a privilege. This vehicle belongs to its generation.
