“Very angry” After Baku’s loss, Max Verstappen promised Sergio Perez.

Max Verstappen, who lost the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, reportedly promised that he would not allow Sergio Perez to defeat him again in 2023.

The two Red Bull drivers were tied for the lead after four races of the season, but Verstappen took control of the championship race in the following round in Miami and held onto it.

He would go on to score more than twice as many points as Perez, and according to reports from his father Jos, the Dutchman’s response to losing the race in Baku was quite intense.

Max Verstappen was “absolutely livid” following Baku’s loss.

Verstappen trailed his teammate by 2.137 seconds on the streets of Baku and led by just six points at the finish line, but the Red Bull driver was apparently “absolutely livid” about the race, despite his apparent cool demeanor in front of the cameras.

Former Formula One driver , “I saw my dad Jos Verstappen in Qatar in the evening after Max had clinched the championship and we were chatting about the season.”

Regarding his finest moment, Chandhok thinks the Japan qualifying lap jumps out.

“That qualifying lap in Japan, I think it will be my moment. It was a driver’s near-perfection,” he remarked.

It ranks among the greatest qualifying laps in Formula 1 history, with those of the legendary [Ayrton] Senna, [Lewis] Hamilton, and [Michael] Schumacher.
