Having been benched for 14 consecutive games leading up to Friday, Tucker remained on the sidelines during the Clippers’ recent game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Despite not getting any playing time, Tucker gained attention on social media for his apparent halftime post. Anticipating his lack of involvement, even in a blowout, it’s not surprising that he turned to social media, deviating from basketball-related content.
Given the circumstances, it’s likely that Tyronn Lue will continue to keep Tucker on the bench until a trade opportunity arises. Unfortunately, Tucker’s role and performance with the 76ers may not be enough to attract other teams, especially considering his $11.5 million player option for the upcoming season.
