Described as “a cannibal” by Max Verstappen

During the most recent 2023 campaign, Max Verstappen lost just three races and one to another team.

Max Verstappen has been referred to as “a cannibal” by former Formula 1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella, who also acknowledged that the Dutchman is destroying the entire grid.

With three straight championships under his belt, Verstappen has been the driver to beat over the past three seasons.

Lewis Hamilton matched him for the whole 2021 season, although he has finished ahead of the pack the past two years.

Charles Leclerc may have given it their best effort in 2022, but Verstappen prevailed by 146 points to capture his second title.

Regarding the just concluded 2023 season, Sergio Perez’s hopes of winning the championship were dashed after just four races, as nobody came close to challenging the Red Bull driver.

This year, Verstappen shattered nearly every record, the majority of which he had set in 2022.

Verstappen surpassed the records in 2023 for the most victories (19), the most wins in a row (10), the most points (575), the most laps led (1,003), and the percentage of wins in a season (86.4%).

Verstappen was so dominant this year that only three races were missing from his win total.

Fisichella acknowledged that Verstappen was so exceptional this year that it was practically impossible to beat him.

Max Verstappen is a formidable opponent right now, according to Fisichella, who spoke to Paddock News 24 and was cited by F1 Oversteer.
