Mercedes is overhauling ‘essentially practically every component’ for the upcoming automobile, according to Wolff.

According to Aston Martin performance director Tom McCullough, solid systems are in place to prevent wind tunnel data transfer between them and Mercedes, as they used the Mercedes facility throughout the development of their new wind tunnel.
“The FIA are pretty strict and do a lot of inspections and all that stuff,” McCullough remarked in an interview. “Dominic Harlow pays a visit to the teams.
“With Mercedes, it’s completely closed to one and open to the other.” Different access points, different individuals in charge of the sessions. So, from the standpoint of secrecy, I believe we have a very strong connection with Mercedes. And it is the FIA’s responsibility to police all of this.”
