In Hugh Freeze’s inaugural season as the head coach of the Auburn Tigers, the team posted a 6-6 record, a result that didn’t meet all expectations.

However, given the challenging state of the roster, Coach Freeze actively recruited from the transfer portal, bringing in late additions to the 2023 class. This influx of new talent, including transfers like Elijah McAllister from Vanderbilt, significantly impacted the team.
