West Tigers: rugby league star faces charges related to the suspected daylight murder of a man

Two West Tigers junior players, one a rising NRL star and the other his younger brother, are accused of killing Dejan “Danny the Serb” Radulovic.

On Wednesday, 21-year-old Eti Tavui turned himself in to Liverpool Police Station. He was charged with stabbing and shooting 29-year-old Radulovic on Donnelly St. in Balmain, Sydney’s inner west, on July 29.

at addition, he was accused of disobeying a digital evidence access order. On Wednesday night, he was detained by the police and was scheduled to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Thursday.Police will claim that a dispute over narcotics caused Radulovic’s death.

Masei Tavui, his 19-year-old brother and a promising junior recruit for the Tigers, was taken into custody at his family’s rental house in Austral and accused with murder the day before.

Eti was a gifted NRL player with a bright future ahead of him, just like his brother.

In addition, he participated in junior league play for the West Tigers in 2019 and the East Campbelltown Eagles in 2020. In addition, he was named a Jack Ashley/Ken Stonestreet Junior Rep Rising Talent in 2018.

He seems to have been seeking a career in voice acting as well.

He hails from a family of nine and says he likes “playing a variety of sports,” according to his profile on Voices, a platform that connects companies with aspiring performers.

The profile said, “I am a follower of Christ, I have a family of nine, and I love to try and learn new types of things in the world we live in.”

On Tuesday morning, his younger brother Masei was taken into custody.

They took “clothing relevant to the investigation” and took him handcuffed out of the residence.

Police said he drove off in a white Jeep on the day of the alleged July murder.

On an adjacent residential street in Five Dock, he is accused of abandoning the car and setting it on fire.

Despite Radulovic’s rapid arrival at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and his urgent surgery, the medical staff was unable to preserve his life.

With Radulovic’s death, police formed Strike Force Dears. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.

In Liverpool Local Court on Tuesday afternoon, Masei was not granted bail.

On December 12, his case will be discussed at Sydney’s Downing Center.
