Vincent Trocheck, a forward for the New York Rangers, was also included. Trocheck has played 46 games this season, tallying 15 goals and 29 assists.

Injured forwards Jack Eichel of the Vegas Golden Knights and Connor Bedard of the Chicago Blackhawks are replaced by Connor and Trocheck.

After an outstanding debut season, Bedard, 18, was nominated to the all-star team. He finished with 33 points (15 goals, 18 assists) in 39 games.

However, during a game against New Jersey on December 5, he suffered a broken jaw. Prior to the Blackhawks’ Monday night game in Vancouver, head coach Luke Richardson stated that he anticipates Bedard to be out for a another six weeks.

With 44 points in 42 games, Eichel is a week-to-week player following surgery for a lower-body ailment he suffered on January 11.

Due to Eichel’s injury, the Golden Knights, the reigning Stanley Cup winners, will be without a player for All-Star Weekend, which takes place from February 1–4.
