The Winnipeg Jets, in conjunction with the National Hockey League, have disclosed that Kyle Connor, a forward, is now part of the lineup for the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend. The 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend is set to be hosted by the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena from February 1 to February 3, 2024.
At 27 years old, Connor is presently in his sixth season in the NHL, all of which have been with the Jets. Despite missing 16 games due to a knee injury, the Shelby Township, Michigan native leads Winnipeg this season with 18 goals. His average of 0.64 goals per game in the 2023–24 season sees him tied for 18th place in the NHL with 15 even-strength goals. He has exceeded the 30-goal mark in five of his six full NHL seasons. Since the 2017–18 season, his tally of 225 goals places him eighth in the league.
This will mark Kyle Connor’s second appearance in an NHL All-Star Game, having previously participated in the 2022 edition held in Las Vegas, Nevada. He will be accompanied by head coach Rick Bowness and Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck.
