“Sam Merrill’s Shooting Brilliance Fuels Cleveland Cavaliers’ Bench: “Money Merrill” Campaign Gains Traction”

Sam Merrill’s contributions in shooting have been instrumental for the Cleveland Cavaliers‘ bench, benefiting from ample playing time opportunities.

Over his last 17 games, Merrill has maintained an average of 12.7 points per game along with 3.6 successful three-pointers per game. During this period, he has impressively converted 44.3 percent of his three-point attempts, boasting a season three-point shooting percentage of 43.2 percent. His lethal accuracy from beyond the arc has relentlessly dashed opponents’ hopes of victory.

Notably, Merrill’s impact has garnered attention within the Cavs community and on social media platforms. Tony Pesta, from Fear The Sword and Right Down Euclid, highlighted Merrill’s exceptional performance, ranking him second among NBA bench players in made threes since December 15, despite his limited playing time of 288 minutes.

The “Money Merrill” campaign, supported by Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen, and other Cavaliers players, aims to secure Merrill’s participation in the Three-Point Contest during the All-Star Weekend in Indiana next month. The momentum behind this campaign continues to surge as anticipation builds.
