Breaking News: Terms and condition are met between Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari …

Lewis Hamilton has decided to leave Mercedes and sign for Ferrari for the 2025 season, in one of the largest driver market changes in Formula 1 history.

In 2025, Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time Formula 1 World Champion, will finalize an unexpected transfer to Ferrari.

The British driver has chosen to leave Mercedes, where he rose to become the all-time greatest Formula One driver.

After the Monegasque signed a contract deal earlier this year, he is now expected to work with Charles Leclerc at Ferrari.

After joining Mercedes in 2013, Hamilton amassed 103 race victories with the Brackley-based team, including six World Championships.

But since the new technical restrictions were implemented, Mercedes has had a challenging two seasons and has been battling lower on the grid while competitor Red Bull has excelled.

Hamilton’s most recent Formula One victory occurred at the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, more over two years ago.

Although Hamilton has long been connected to a move to Ferrari, he has consistently downplayed these rumors and emphasized his loyalty to Mercedes.

Just a few months ago, the 39-year-old signed a two-year agreement with Mercedes, but it suddenly looks like a second season was possible.

Carlos Sainz of Ferrari was the only team to upset Red Bull during the Singapore Grand Prix last year.

After partnering with the Italian company in 2021, Sainz will now split ways with it at the end of the current campaign.

Since winning the Constructors’ Championship in 2008, Ferrari has not won a championship. The team has faced its own struggles recently.

Ferrari finished the Formula One season in third place, one spot behind Mercedes.
