The White Sox have revealed a minor league agreement with three-time All-Star Mike Moustakas, extending a non-roster invitation. As reported by Bob Nightengale of USA Today, Moustakas stands to earn $2 million upon reaching the major leagues, alongside an additional $2 million in performance-based bonuses.

At 35 years old, Moustakas has traversed several teams since his trade from the Kansas City Royals to the Milwaukee Brewers in 2018, including stints with the Cincinnati Reds, Colorado Rockies, and Los Angeles Angels.
Commencing his MLB journey with the Kansas City Royals in 2011, Moustakas swiftly ascended through the ranks to become a fixture in the Royals’ lineup. He notably contributed to the Royals’ 2015 World Series victory, boasting a .284 batting average and .817 OPS during the regular season, and hitting .304 in the World Series, driving in three runs against the Mets.

In the previous season, split between the Rockies and Angels, Moustakas recorded a .247 batting average with a .685 OPS across 112 games, while adding 12 home runs and 48 RBIs to his statistics.
