
LSU running back Trey Holly has been arrested in connection with a weekend shooting in his hometown of Farmerville, La., as reported by multiple sources. Holly faces three felony charges: attempted second-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property, and illegal use of a weapon. The incident occurred last Friday night at an apartment complex in Farmerville, resulting in a man and a woman being hospitalized with gunshot wounds, with the woman listed in critical condition.

Following the arrest, Holly has been indefinitely suspended from all team activities at LSU, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Holly, a freshman for the Tigers in 2023, played in three games, rushing for 110 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. He was a 3-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class and set a Louisiana all-divisions record with 10,523 rushing yards during his high school career at Union Parish High School in Farmerville.
