Report: A Sea Eagles player was suspended during their match against the Sydney Rooster.

A Grade 2 Crusher Tackle charge may lead to Manly forward Toafofoa Sipley missing the first three matches of the upcoming season.

The incident occurred during the 53rd minute of Saturday’s Pre-Season Challenge against the Sydney Roosters, resulting in Chooks player Dominic Young being hospitalized. The NRL’s Match Review has scrutinized the matter, and Sipley faces a suspension.

This is Sipley’s second offense, and if he accepts an early guilty plea, he will be sidelined for three games. However, if he contests the charge at the Judiciary and fails, the suspension will extend to four matches. Manly’s opening fixtures against South Sydney,
