Both Dominic Young and Brandon Smith have undergone assessments by the club’s medical staff following their participation in the 2024 All Stars match and the Sydney Roosters’Pre-season Challenge match over the weekend.
Young has been diagnosed with a soft tissue injury to his neck and will receive conservative treatment from the Roosters medical team.
Brandon Smith underwent a Category Two head injury assessment, which he successfully passed on the night of the incident. As a result, he will be eligible for selection in the club’s opening match of the season.
