Wests Tigers forward Samuela Fainu has opted to accept an early guilty plea for a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge stemming from Sunday’s 18-16 win over the Warriors in the NRL Pre-season Challenge.
The incident took place shortly before halftime in Christchurch as Fainu was tackling Warriors forward Jacob Laban. By accepting the early guilty plea, Fainu will face a $1000 fine but will remain eligible for selection in Saturday’s Pre-season Challenge match against the Dragons in Mudgee.
