Alabama has made two captivating additions to bolster their offensive coaching staff. The Crimson Tide have enlisted JaMarcus Shephard and Nick Sheridan. Sheridan will serve as the designated offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, while Shephard will assume the roles of assistant head coach, co-offensive coordinator, and wide receivers coach.

“Nick and JaMarcus are both exceptional coaches, and we are thrilled to welcome them to Alabama,” stated Kalen DeBoer, Alabama’s head coach, as reported by an article on rolltide.com. “They possess a deep understanding of our offensive system and share our vision for success on that side of the ball. Their enthusiasm and dedication to coaching and recruiting have been evident throughout their careers, making them invaluable additions to our staff.”

Both Shephard and Sheridan have previously collaborated with Kalen DeBoer. Shephard served on the Washington staff from 2022 to 2023, where he held the roles of assistant head coach and wide receivers coach for the Huskies. Similarly, Sheridan was part of the Washington staff last year as the tight ends coach. Additionally, he has prior experience working with DeBoer at Indiana, where he served as the offensive coordinator for two years. The familiarity between DeBoer and the new hires bodes well for Alabama’s coaching synergy.

“It’s an incredible honor to join Coach DeBoer at Alabama,” remarked Sheridan. “I’m eager to collaborate with the offensive staff to devise weekly strategies that position our team for success. Alabama boasts an unparalleled legacy, and I recognize the significance of maintaining that standard while nurturing the development of our players.”
