Justine Verlander is uncertain about his health…

The Houston Astros are facing health challenges as they prepare for spring training. Justin Verlander, the veteran ace, revealed that he is dealing with shoulder problems that have put him behind schedule. Verlander expressed uncertainty about being ready for Opening Day, acknowledging that his body’s response to training is different at 40 than it was at 25.

Justin Verlander, who turns 41 on Tuesday, has not reached 200 regular-season innings since 2019, suggesting that age and durability could be concerns.

While his current shoulder issue doesn’t appear too serious, it may raise alarms given his recent injury history. With Houston’s pitching staff already facing challenges, keeping Verlander healthy will be crucial for the team’s World Series aspirations.
