Despite missing 16 games due to a knee injury, Connor has made a significant impact, tallying 40 points in 40 games, with 23 goals, making him the leading scorer for the Jets. If he had participated in all 56 games, simple calculations suggest he would have lit the lamp 32 times.
Extrapolating this over a full 82-game season, Connor’s projected goal tally would stand at 47, matching his highest career total achieved during the 2021-22 campaign.
The Jets will resume play on Tuesday as they host the Blues in Winnipeg.
