As the Blue Jays gear up for another season, fan interest seems to be on the decline, despite the initial hype surrounding the team’s core players. The continued disappointment in late-season performances has started to take its toll on fans.

Spring training is a time of hope and preparation for teams, but injuries can quickly dampen spirits. Last year, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. battled a knee issue that lingered, and this year, Kevin Gausman and Alek Manoah are dealing with sore shoulders, slowing their progress.

 

With three weeks left until opening day, Gausman and Manoah’s slow recovery raises concerns about their readiness for the start of the season, especially given the team’s lack of depth.
