Sydney’s recent acquisition, Brodie Grundy, encountered an unexpected obstacle on the morning of his debut game as a Swan—he was stung by a jellyfish.
Despite suffering a swollen ear from the encounter, Grundy is set to face his former team, Melbourne, on Thursday night.
The experienced ruckman shared the incident on Instagram, stating, “In other news, I went for a swim this morning and got stung by a blue bottle jellyfish which was fun.”
Despite this setback, Grundy has been confirmed in the lineup and will participate in the game.
