South Sydney Rabbitohs forward Jai Arrow shoulder injury, prompting updates on his condition and anticipated return to the field.

South Sydney Rabbitohs have been hit with another unfortunate injury setback as Jai Arrow faces an uncertain wait to determine the severity of a shoulder problem he sustained during the team’s opening match in Las Vegas.

Arrow, who began the game on the right edge for the Rabbitohs, suffered a rotator cuff injury during their loss to Manly. This injury could potentially keep him out of action for an extended period.

Jai Arrow

Arrow has been replaced in the backrow by promising young talent Tallis Duncan for the Rabbitohs’ Round 2 showdown against Brisbane on Thursday night.

The extent of Jai Arrow’s absence from South Sydney Rabbitohs’ matches depends on the outcome of his medical assessment. If Arrow only needs a short recovery time, he could miss about four matches, including the game against Brisbane Broncos, the clash with Sydney Roosters, and home games against Canterbury Bulldogs and New Zealand Warriors.

However, if Arrow requires surgery, he could be sidelined for three to four months, effectively ending his season. In this case, he would miss the remainder of the campaign, including the matches mentioned above.
