Moving on to the coaching staff, the Tiger-Cats finalized their lineup early in the spring, except for a running backs coach. However, former CFL fullback Calvin McCarty recently announced via Twitter that he has joined the Tiger-Cats as their new running backs coach. McCarty brings his extensive playing experience from a five-year career in the CFL as a fullback, having played for Edmonton from 2016 to 2019 and for the Calgary Stampeders in 2021. This opportunity in Hamilton marks McCarty’s first venture into coaching a position in the CFL.
