Just last week, Kawhi Leonard unexpectedly missed a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to back spasms. He was then listed as questionable for the following games but is now officially available for the LA Clippers’ matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers tonight.
Leonard will join Paul George and James Harden on the court. Against the Trail Blazers this season, Leonard has been exceptional, averaging 28.5 points, 5.5 assists, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals on impressive shooting percentages.
Paul George has also performed well against Portland, averaging 23.5 points, 7.0 assists, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals. Despite the Trail Blazers’ weak defense, the Clippers must not underestimate them, especially after their recent loss to the Atlanta Hawks.
The Clippers are currently just half a game ahead of the New Orleans Pelicans for the 4th seed in the playoffs, and a loss tonight could drop them to 5th seed, costing them home court advantage. The game between the LA Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers starts at 7:00 p.m. EST tonight.
