Breaking news: Alabama linebacker suffers injury alongside three other prominent players.

Alabama football concluded its fifth spring practice on Thursday, which also marked the second media viewing session. Kalen DeBoer addressed reporters after practice for the second occasion.

He provided updates to the media regarding a few injuries, emphasizing that none were significant. DeBoer mentioned that CJ Dippre (tight end), Sterling Dixon (linebacker), and Germie Bernard (receiver) are expected to return soon.

“We are getting CJ back in a little bit, he is not full go yet,” DeBoer stated. “We’ll have him added to the mix.”

While DeBoer didn’t specify Dippre’s injury, he noted the thinness of the tight end room and expressed a desire to incorporate tight ends more into the offensive scheme, as they play a significant role in his strategy.

Sterling Dixon, a four-star freshman from Spanish Fort, Ala., was observed wearing a black, non-contact jersey during Thursday’s practice. Bernard, a transfer from Washington, also wore a black jersey.

DeBoer assured reporters that Dixon and Bernard’s issues were minor, stating, “It’s just minor stuff. They will be back. I don’t think they will be back on Saturday, but I think they should be back next week. It is nothing major.”

Alabama’s first scrimmage is scheduled for Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
