Essendon’s Darcy Parish has been declared fit to play against the Swans on Saturday night and will join Sam Draper in the Bombers’ lineup at the SCG. Coach Brad Scott has also brought back Nick Hind to replace the suspended Mason Redman, and Jayden Laverde is in for the injured Zach Reid.

Harry Jones is omitted after a challenging game against the Hawks. Meanwhile, the Swans have included Corey Warner in their squad in place of the injured Robbie Fox. The Bulldogs have named four potential replacements for suspended midfielder James Harmes, but three-time All-Australian Jack Macrae is not among them. Macrae, who had a pre-season hamstring setback, is likely to play in the VFL again.

The 195cm key forward, who needed surgery after a training mishap in January, has been brought straight into the senior side for the clash in Ballarat. Fellow recruit Sam Clohesy could also make his debut after being named on an extended bench, with Malcolm Rosas suspended and Darcy Macpherson omitted.

Geelong has lost midfielder Tanner Bruhn to a foot complaint and has recalled Irishman Oisin Mullin to take on Adelaide on Friday night. The Crows have made three changes in a bid to secure their first win of the season at home, with Mark Keane and Ned McHenry coming into the side along with fit-again Taylor Walker. Key defender James Borlase, along with Lachlan Sholl and Lachie Gollant, has lost his spot.

Harrison Petty is the only inclusion for Melbourne against an unchanged Hawthorn on Saturday after dealing with a toe issue in the pre-season. Key forward Mitch Georgiades could play his first game for the Power since his ACL injury early last year, named among four possible replacements for Jed McEntee.

The Kangaroos have regained both co-captains to face the Dockers, who confirmed key defender Josh Draper would make his debut following a suspected serious knee injury to Oscar McDonald in the win over the Lions.
