A former striker from Arsenal is reportedly in advanced negotiations to join LAFC in the MLS when his contract expires in the summer.
Olivier Giroud, who has played for Arsenal, Chelsea, and currently AC Milan, is said to be in talks with LAFC, although an agreement has not been reached yet.
It is uncertain if AC Milan will offer Giroud a new contract due to his age. Giroud had a successful stint at Arsenal, scoring 73 goals in 180 Premier League appearances and winning three FA Cups and three Community Shields.
He is also France’s all-time leading goal scorer, with 56 goals in 128 appearances. After leaving Arsenal, Giroud joined Chelsea before moving to AC Milan in 2021, where he has scored 36 goals in 88 appearances.
