Giroud to received offer from LAFC the agreement is current in progress as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano.
According to L’Équipe’s recent report, discussions have been underway between Los Angeles FC and AC Milan’s forward Olivier Giroud (37) regarding a potential free transfer. Fabrizio Romano now confirms that an official contract offer has been dispatched.
With Giroud’s contract set to expire at AC Milan’s conclusion this season, he is eligible to engage in talks for a pre-contract agreement with other clubs, a right he seems keen on exercising. Giroud appears to be a highly sought-after player, as evidenced by the multiple offers he’s received. The veteran player is taking his time to consider his next move, although Romano notes that LAFC is currently leading the race despite offering less than competing bids from other clubs.
LAFC has formally submitted an offer and is confident in their pursuit of Giroud, aiming to add another French talent to their squad. Hugo Lloris, Giroud’s former international teammate who recently joined LAFC, is advocating for Giroud to join him at the club.
