In a viral video shared by former MLB third baseman Josh Booty on Instagram, Rose was seen engaging in a lighthearted discussion about the saga involving Shohei Ohtani and his former interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara.
In the video, a man named Matt Thrash is seen interacting with Rose, asking for his thoughts on the situation. Rose humorously remarked, “Well back in the ’70s and ’80s, I wish I’d have had an interpreter. I’d be scot-free.”

Instead, he claimed to be a victim of theft by Mizuhara, who allegedly used funds to support his own gambling addiction.
