Michigan Football is experiencing a surge in recruiting success.

Under the leadership of new head coach Sherrone Moore, Michigan Football has seen a revitalization in recruiting efforts. Moore has emphasized an aggressive approach to recruiting and has made impactful hires, including additions to the recruiting department, with one notable hire coming from Georgia.

However, the most significant impact has been seen with the addition of Tony Alford as the running backs coach. Alford, previously with Ohio State, has brought a new level of energy and success to Michigan’s running back recruiting. While Mike Hart, the former running backs coach, was a respected figure and developer of talent, Alford’s recruiting efforts have been more dynamic and fruitful.

Michigan has gained momentum in recruiting some of the top running backs in the country, with recent visits from highly ranked prospects such as Bo Jackson from Cleveland. Previously considered a strong favorite for Ohio State, Jackson’s recruitment has become more open since Alford’s arrival, giving Michigan a legitimate chance to land the talented back.

Alford’s impact has been significant, shifting the recruitment landscape and giving Michigan a competitive edge in securing top talent.
