With their top ruckman Matt Flynn and co-captain Oscar Allen sidelined due to injuries, the Eagles are facing a shortage of options in the tall forward positions. In their recent match against Kieren Briggs, second-game player Harry Barnett was tasked with rucking, allowing Bailey Williams to move forward.
However, the team’s structure underwent changes in the second half when Barnett was substituted, leaving key forward Jack Darling with limited tall support in attack.
