Breaking News: Rival NRL Clubs Vying for 20-Year-Old Talent from Wests Tigers.

While the Wests Tigers bask in the glory of their recent victory over the Cronulla Sharks, the club faces the prospect of losing another promising young talent.

Following his brother Cooper Clarke’s departure last year to join the Melbourne Storm, Zakauri Clarke could soon follow suit in leaving the club.

Set to become a free agent at the end of the season, The Daily Telegraph reports that multiple rival NRL clubs are actively pursuing Clarke and expressing interest in acquiring his services.

Despite being the top point-scorer for the Wests Tigers in the SG Ball Cup last season, Clarke primarily operated in the forward positions as a lock, second-rower, or prop.

However, this season has seen a positional transition for the 20-year-old, who now features in the halves for the club’s Jersey Flegg Cup team.

While he has mostly been utilized off the interchange bench this year, Clarke was recently promoted to the starting five-eighth role in a match against the Cronulla Sharks, replacing Iverson Matai.

In that game, Clarke made a significant impact, tallying 14 points, including one try and five goals, contributing to the Tigers’ 38-18 victory.
