AFL team news: Blues welcome back key players
Sam Walsh Returns for Milestone AFL Game Against Adelaide: Carlton's Double Celebration Awaited
Sam Walsh will make his return this Saturday against Adelaide, in doing so bringing up his 100th AFL game.
In his first game for the season, Walsh will play his comeback and milestone game in front of another big Navy Blue crowd under the roof.
Walsh’s inclusion is the one change for the Blues, with Lachie Fogarty (suspension) to miss.
The midfielder has been named on the bench alongside Jordan Boyd, Jack Carroll, Matthew Cottrell and Corey Durdin, with the Blues to name their sub an hour before the bounce.
It’ll be a double milestone for Carlton, with Blake Acres also to play his 150th AFL game after stints at St Kilda and Fremantle.
The Blues will be looking to celebrate their first win over the Crows since Round 8 of 2022, having come up short against the Crows on the last two occasions between the sides at Adelaide Oval.
Saturday’s game kicks off from 4:35pm in the Blues’ first home game for the year at Marvel Stadium.
