Can Auburn secure the commitment of the top-ranked prospect in the nation?

Auburn is currently in search of a quarterback recruit for the 2025 season, and one potential candidate to fill this role is Julian “Ju Ju” Lewis from Carrollton High School in Georgia.

He has visited Auburn unofficially several times but is yet to make his official visit. According to Adam Gorney, Lewis is scheduled to take official visits to Georgia on May 31, Southern California on June 7, Auburn on June 14, and Colorado on June 21. With impressive stats in 2023, including a 66.4% completion rate, 3,094 yards, 48 touchdowns, and just 2 interceptions, Lewis is a highly sought-after prospect.

While committed to Southern California, Lewis could still visit Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, and Colorado officially. Given that the NCAA does not limit the number of official visits, Lewis may take a few more trips.

Auburn is considered a dark horse in the recruitment, but Lewis’s multiple unofficial visits and scheduled official visit are positive signs for the Tigers. Landing Lewis, the top prospect in the country, would be a significant boost for Auburn’s football program.
