Panthers DC Ejiro Evero Remark following Dan Morgan’s recent decisions
Carolina Panthers' Defensive Coordinator Ejiro Evero Returns to Oversee Overhauled Defense
As the 2024 season approaches, the Carolina Panthers‘ defensive lineup undergoes significant transformation under the leadership of defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero. Among the notable acquisitions during the early stages of the offseason are Josey Jewell, A’Shawn Robinson, Jordan Fuller, Jadeveon Clowney, Dane Jackson, and D.J. Wonnum. Evero, expressing his enthusiasm for the revamped roster, highlighted the quality of dialogue and talent within the team.
“I’m really, really, really excited about the group of guys that we have right now,” Evero shared via the Panthers website. “These first four days have just been really exciting, and we know that we’ve got a lot of good football players, talented football players, but also just the football dialogue.”
With these additions, Evero anticipates significant progress for the Panthers’ defense. Having already led a formidable unit in the 2023 season, Evero now possesses enhanced resources to elevate the team’s performance further.
“I feel so much better about our starting point compared to last year,” Evero emphasized. “Just with the experience and knowledge and foundation of the system.”
For Evero, the primary focus remains on continual improvement, and the Panthers appear poised to make strides in that direction with their bolstered defensive lineup.
