Tigers suffer a devastating injury setback just before their match against the determined Eagles.

West Coast Eagles are in desperate pursuit of their first win this season as they prepare to face an injury-plagued Richmond team in Perth on Sunday.

With a current record of 0-4, the Eagles have opted to leave out veteran Andrew Gaff once more, with only Tyler Brockman joining the lineup.

Meanwhile, the Tigers (1-4) enter the fray missing key midfielder Tim Taranto due to a fractured forearm sustained during training. Additionally, Richmond has been dealt another blow as promising youngster Judson Clarke tore his ACL while playing in the VFL on Saturday.

“It’s another devastating injury setback,” reported Fox Footy’s Jon Ralph. “More unfortunate news for the Tigers.”

However, Richmond will see the return of inspirational leader Liam Baker and young defender Hugo Ralphsmith for the showdown at Optus Stadium.

The match kicks off at 4 pm AEST, broadcasting live on Fox Footy (channel 504) and available for streaming on Kayo or through Hubbl.
