Key defender Zach Reid is steadily advancing in his rehabilitation program, with the club prioritizing a comprehensive training regimen before his return to competitive play. Dylan Shiel marked a successful comeback from an oblique strain in the VFL, showcasing promising form with 18 disposals and six clearances.

Tex Wanganeen also made his return via the reserves following foot surgery, featuring in the second half of the game.
