Despite a disappointing 2023-24 season for Kansas, the Jayhawks remain a prominent force in college basketball. Big man Hunter Dickinson is actively working to enhance their competitiveness for the upcoming season through some not-so-subtle recruiting efforts on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

Following the announcement of Duke senior guard Jeremy Roach’s intention to enter the transfer portal, Dickinson, who previously played alongside Roach in EYBL ball, essentially staked his claim on Roach’s transfer.
Roach’s potential arrival at Kansas would mark a significant acquisition for the Jayhawks, given his wealth of experience and talent. Averaging 11.3 points over the past four seasons at Duke, with a career-high of 14 points per game in his senior year, Roach’s impact would be felt on any team.
With an additional year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 season, Roach has also thrown his name into the 2024 NBA Draft to keep his options open. However, considering the potential opportunities for NIL deals in college basketball, remaining in college might be his most advantageous choice.
