On Thursday morning, LA Clippers standout Kawhi Leonard shared a significant announcement, introducing the latest version of his signature shoe. In an official statement, New Balance revealed:
“Today, New Balance, in collaboration with two-time NBA Champion and six-time All-Star Kawhi Leonard, presented the newest iteration of his signature footwear, the KAWHI IV. The color variations of the KAWHI IV aim to provide fans with further insight into Kawhi’s journey, one that has transcended basketball throughout his thirteen-year career in the league.
The initial two color schemes of the KAWHI IV, known as Transcend Reality and Transcend the Game, are set to debut simultaneously on Thursday, April 25th, available at www.newbalance.com, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and other selected retailers, priced at $160.”
Leonard also shared his thoughts, stating, “Launching the KAWHI IV towards the end of the 2024 season holds special significance, and I’m thrilled to introduce it alongside New Balance. Collaborating with the design team on the new color options of the KAWHI IV allows me to showcase a different aspect of myself and my game to fans. The New Balance design team has enhanced the technology while incorporating some enjoyable elements from the brand’s lifestyle aspect.”
