The 2025 recruiting class for Mizzou is heating up with three commitments in as many days. The latest addition is Joshua Lewis, a strongside defensive end from Geismar, Louisiana, who committed to the Tigers on Monday evening.
Lewis, standing at 6’4.5″ and weighing 245 pounds, is a 3-star prospect with offers from 17 schools, including Georgia Tech, Houston, and Tulane. Known for his length and strength, Lewis is seen as a developmental piece for the class, with potential to become a strong rotational end for Mizzou’s defense under Corey Batoon.
Lewis joins Jason Dowell, a hulking interior figure, as the second defensive line commit in Mizzou’s 2025 class. Dowell, from Belleville, Illinois, is a 4-star prospect standing at 6’4″ and weighing 290 pounds.
With these commitments, Mizzou’s 2025 class is shaping up to be a promising one, with key additions on both sides of the ball.
