Isaac Cumming Makes Season Debut

Following a preseason calf injury that hindered the wingman’s preparations, Cumming will make his return to the field this Friday when the VFL squad squares off against the Kangaroos at Blacktown in the afternoon.

After a thrilling victory against Werribee last weekend, marking their first home and away loss since round four last year, the GIANTS are aiming for their third win of the season as they confront the Kangaroos on their home turf.

Additionally, VFL-listed GIANTS Tom McCaffrey and Taine Moraschi make their return to the squad. McCaffrey is back for his first game since the opening round encounter with Footscray, while Moraschi is set for his debut appearance of the year.

Small forward Darcy Jones has been omitted from the lineup after being named for his AFL debut in the GIANTS’ ANZAC night matchup with the Lions at Manuka Oval.

Izaak Hughes has returned home and is in the process of recovering from a significant collision in last week’s triumph over Werribee, while Billy Clark has been left out.

The GIANTS’ VFL team will include 14 AFL-listed players in their clash against the Kangaroos on Friday, scheduled for 1:05 PM at Blacktown International SportsPark.
