JJ McCarthy draft prediction

J.J. McCarthy’s draft prediction is a bit uncertain, but there’s speculation that he could be selected early in the 2024 NFL Draft. McCarthy, who played for Michigan and had a successful college career, is considered a top quarterback prospect alongside Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye.

McCarthy’s recent visits with the New York Giants, New England Patriots, and Washington Commanders suggest that these teams could be interested in drafting him. The Commanders, picking second, are likely to choose between Daniels, Maye, and McCarthy, with Daniels currently favored to go to Washington. This could leave McCarthy available for the Patriots at No. 3.

However, there’s also speculation that the Patriots could trade their pick, possibly with the Giants, who are interested in a quarterback. The Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, and Las Vegas Raiders are other teams in need of a quarterback who could make a move for McCarthy.

In a bold prediction, it’s suggested that McCarthy could end up with the Los Angeles Chargers after a trade with the Vikings, who move up to secure him at No. 5. This scenario would see McCarthy reunited with his college coach, Jim Harbaugh, who is now with the Chargers.
