The contentious issues surrounding the Nuggets’ playground.

In Game 2 of the Denver Nuggets versus Los Angeles Lakers series, a highly contentious play occurred. Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr.

made contact with Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell’s face, but upon review, the replay center deemed it marginal contact and did not call a foul on Porter.

Following the game, LeBron James criticized the officials in the replay center, expressing his frustration by questioning the purpose of having a replay center if calls like this are made.

He emphasized that Russell was clearly struck in the face during the drive and expressed his bewilderment at the decision.

In a recent episode of the Full Send Podcast, Porter responded to James’ remarks, acknowledging that he did make contact with Russell but asserting that it was minimal.

He mentioned that while the referee deemed it marginal contact, he understands the frustration when a call is missed, even after reviewing all angles.

This incident sparked controversy, with James, Russell, and the Lakers expressing discontent over the decision.
