Ethan Morton Chooses Colorado State for Final College Basketball Season

Former Purdue standout Ethan Morton has announced his decision to continue his college basketball journey with the Colorado State Rams/Aggies. Morton, known for his selfless play and team-first mentality, played a pivotal role in Purdue’s success despite starting zero games in his senior season.

During his time at Purdue, Morton demonstrated exceptional commitment to the team, willingly accepting a reduced role in his senior year to support the greater team objective. Despite starting 29 games in his junior season, Morton embraced a bench role during Purdue’s impressive run to the NCAA Championship game.

One of the defining moments of Morton’s senior season came in the Sweet 16 matchup against Gonzaga, where he was inserted into the game with seconds remaining to disrupt the Bulldogs’ offense. His quick fouls proved instrumental in preventing Gonzaga from scoring, earning him a standing ovation from the Purdue faithful.

As Morton embarks on the next chapter of his basketball career, we extend our best wishes for his continued success at Colorado State.
